Settings and alerts
Open Settings from the header or account menu. Categories apply to the existing terminal; enabling a preference does not activate an unavailable data provider or trading capability.
General and startup preferences
Under General, set Default landing page and Remember recent markets. The landing-page choice controls the default destination and wordmark navigation. Remembered markets are distinct from the starred watchlist.
Accounts manages account entries. An entry marked Preview is temporary and cannot trade. Forgetting a saved account identifier is separate from venue revocation.
Appearance and typography
Appearance provides theme presets, colour controls, Interface font, Market data font and Base interface size. Interface and numerical text have separate roles; changing a font does not change price precision.
Check dense panels at your chosen text size and resize the workspace if needed. PnL export artwork has separate fixed typography. Layout and theme choices inside the account setup preview do not save these preferences.
Terminal display preferences
Terminal contains Maximum slippage, Orderbook design, Order size display, Minimum trade size and Liquidations page minimum. The liquidation widget has its own inline threshold. Trade-display thresholds do not change market liquidity or account fills.
Chart settings and overlays
Charts sets Default timeframe, Pinned timeframes and Trading overlays. At least one timeframe must stay pinned. Changing the default applies to the active chart and new workspaces; individual saved panels retain their interval context.
Position, order and fill overlays require matching available account data. They do not activate trading.
Popup notifications
Under Notifications:
- Enable Show popup alerts.
- Choose which sources may notify under Panel notifications.
- Select Screen position and adjust presentation, size and Time on screen.
- Check a genuine eligible event from an available source; enabling a switch alone does not establish delivery.
Hovering or focusing a visible alert pauses its countdown. Popup delivery is independent of sound. The current alerts are in-application UI, not operating-system push notifications. Browser notifications remains labelled Coming soon in News settings.
Sound alerts
Sound Alerts contains Mute all and separate enabled state, sound and volume per alert type. Sound previews can play while ordinary notification audio is muted. If the status says Interact with VertigoPro to enable sound, interact with the application and check the browser’s audio permissions.
Muting sound does not mute popups. Browser background throttling, sleep and connection loss can interrupt delivery; do not rely on audio as the sole monitoring channel. A complete guarantee against delayed replay after every lifecycle transition has not been established.
News preferences
News manages sources, inline trade buttons, size presets and the inline order type. Source preferences apply to the reader and eligible alerts. Current quick-trade controls prefill an order ticket and never submit directly. The production news producer remains disabled.
Wallet-feed filters
Wallets controls trades, transfers, minimum notionals and Show every TWAP fill. Manage group membership in the Wallets surface. These saved filters do not supply events while production ingestion is unconfigured.
Screener defaults
Screener saves the market universe, sort field and Highest First or Lowest First direction. An unavailable rolling metric may remain selected so that your preference is retained; its value stays unavailable until covered data exists.
Pulse thresholds
Pulse controls Open alert markets on, Market scope, Pulse exchange, Signal type, Lifecycle and Minimum severity. Minimum severity ranges from 0 to 100 and filters signal strength; it is not a forecast confidence percentage.
The preferred opening venue controls navigation. Pulse exchange controls eligible source venues and is independent of the full-page screener selector. Signal preferences do not create events for unsupported sources or missing comparison history.
Local and account-synced settings
Guests see This browser under General → Storage & account. Signed-in users see Syncing, Synced or Sync paused. Changes are saved locally and synchronised in the background where supported.
For Sync paused, keep the device’s data, restore connectivity and select Retry now. Check Synced before expecting another device to contain the latest changes. Signing out switches away from that account’s preference scope; it does not delete the cloud profile or revoke a venue credential.
Export JSON downloads global preferences. It is not a backup of private signing keys or a complete account ledger.
Reset all replaces global preference categories with defaults. Preserve an export first if you need those choices; existing tracked wallets and saved news sources are not removed by that reset.
Clear device is destructive: it signs out locally and deletes local preferences, wallet activity, cached account data and device keys. Confirm cloud sync or preserve needed non-secret preferences before selecting it. Clearing the device is not venue-side revocation and cannot undo orders already accepted elsewhere.
