Charts, order book, and trades
Chart controls
The chart header contains the market selector, watchlist star, timeframe controls and trading-overlay options. Pan and zoom the chart to inspect candles. Reset chart view restores the view when the current market moves off screen.
Timeframes and chart types
Select an available timeframe from the chart controls. Pin intervals through Settings → Charts → Pinned timeframes; at least one must remain pinned. Intervals are stored per chart panel in the workspace.
The current chart renders candlesticks. It does not expose a supported alternative chart-type selector. Venue history determines which intervals and historical ranges can be populated.
Indicators and drawings
The shipped chart does not provide an indicator library or drawing toolbar. Account overlays are available separately; they are not configurable technical indicators.
Trading overlays
Toggle Positions, Orders and Fills through the overlay controls or chart settings. Overlays require matching account data and the correct venue instrument. A public chart alone does not create account annotations.
Position PnL can update from a live price estimate. An overlay is not proof that an order has filled, and current execution restrictions still apply to any account-action control.
Order book levels
The book displays bids and asks for the selected instrument, with price, size and cumulative depth. Its spread reflects the displayed best bid and ask. It is venue-specific depth, not liquidity pooled across Hyperliquid and Lighter.
Depth and aggregation
Use Price grouping to combine displayed levels into larger price increments. Grouping changes presentation; it does not place or modify orders. Settings → Terminal controls Orderbook design and Order size display, including Base Asset and USD Value.
Cumulative bars represent the levels available to the panel. They are not a guarantee of executable size or a complete historical liquidity record.
Recent trades
The tape shows received executions with price, size and time. Minimum trade size in terminal settings hides trades below the selected USD notional. Set it to zero to remove that display threshold.
The tape is a bounded recent view, not your personal fill history. Use Trade history for available account fills.
Buy and sell flow
Trade colours reflect the side supplied by the venue’s public execution feed. They do not identify whether the trader opened or closed a position. Display filters change the visible sample; compare flow only with that scope in mind.
Market and link-group context
Before comparing candles, depth and trades, confirm that all three panels share the intended venue and link group. Matching ticker text alone is insufficient. Market search retains complete instrument identity when switching.
Panel settings
Use chart controls for per-panel intervals, and Settings → Charts or Settings → Terminal for shared defaults. Closing a panel ends that view’s demand; another open view or alert consumer may still use the same data.
Data freshness and reconnecting states
A retained value can remain visible during recovery. stale, loading and reconnecting notices distinguish it from an established live stream. After sleep or network loss, allow the market to reconnect and history to repair before relying on the latest candle or book.
If a panel remains unavailable, check service status, confirm the instrument in search and reload if necessary. Missing historical bars are not filled with invented trades. Display freshness and execution readiness are separate checks.
