News and calendar
News feed
NEWS opens the full-page feed; WIDGETS → News adds it to a workspace. The current production news producer is disabled. No news yet or an empty enabled-source view does not mean no market news occurred.
The controls below describe the implemented reader and preferences. They do not activate a provider or promise live delivery.
Source preferences
Open Settings → News → News sources to choose which configured Telegram and X accounts appear. Muting a source affects its feed visibility and associated news alerts. A source catalogue can remain available while the underlying producer is disabled.
Ticker matching
When supplied content includes recognised tickers, VertigoPro resolves supported instruments within the relevant venue context. Matching favours the exact open contract when available. A ticker mention is not a recommendation, and a text match without a supported instrument must not be treated as an executable market.
Media and article previews
News rows can display supplied media, story context and source links. Availability depends on the received content and accessible media. Open the original source to verify context; the terminal does not guarantee complete articles or permanent media retention.
Filters and pause controls
Search the full-page feed with Search news, or the widget with Search News feed. In the widget, scrolling away from the newest rows holds your reading position while reception continues. Use the New Alerts control to return to the newest items when a count is present.
Source corrections and deletions can still update a paused reading view. Pausing the list is not a pause of the external source or a guarantee that all unseen content is retained indefinitely.
Quick-trade prefills
Recognised news markets can expose Long and Short controls and size presets. Their current behaviour is to fill the order ticket for review; they never submit directly.
- Check the matched venue and instrument.
- Choose the intended side, preset and available order type.
- Inspect the resulting ticket, including size units, price and reduce-only intent.
The configured choices include Market, Limit — Post Only and TWAP 5m. Chase and Burst remain unavailable. Confirm before trading is a future direct-execution preference and does not turn current prefills into trades. The execution restriction remains in force.
Economic calendar
Open Calendar from MORE. Rows group scheduled events by day and show time, currency, impact, event name, forecast and previous value where supplied. Open Filters to select Economic, currency and Low, Medium or High impact.
The displayed Updated value refers to the source snapshot. An event time is a schedule, not proof that a result has arrived. The current table is not a guaranteed live macro-release result feed.
Earnings and IPO events
Use Earnings or IPO in the calendar filters. Earnings coverage is matched to supported equity-related venue markets, not a complete global corporate calendar. An event can have references on both Hyperliquid and Lighter. An empty IPO view does not establish that no IPOs are scheduled elsewhere.
Market navigation
Open a linked earnings market to view its chart. Where multiple supported venue references exist, the calendar orders them with the active venue first. Confirm the destination contract; a company event and a synthetic venue instrument are different objects.
Alerts
News popup and sound settings follow enabled sources when a live source exists. Configure them through Notifications and Sound Alerts. A saved preference cannot produce alerts while the producer is disabled. The calendar has no verified per-event reminder subscription workflow in this release.
Data availability and delays
The terminal refreshes its calendar snapshot every 15 minutes. The deployed upstream macro job runs hourly and the market-event job daily; these are collection schedules, not delivery deadlines. Check Updated and any refresh error before using an event time.
On a failed refresh with retained data, the page states Calendar refresh failed — showing the last known snapshot. Clear filters if no events match; if freshness remains unavailable, verify the event through its primary source. Reloading cannot make an upstream source publish sooner.
