Market search and watchlists

Select Search markets in the header or press / outside a text field. On mobile, tap the market selector or search control. No venue connection is required.

Search by symbol or asset

Enter a symbol or asset name, then inspect the matching rows. Confirm the full market label before selecting: a shared ticker can identify different spot pairs, perpetuals or venue deployments.

Filter by venue

Use the search venue controls to narrow results to Hyperliquid or Lighter. A venue filter is a discovery choice, not a change to your authentication or trading account.

Perpetual and spot markets

Choose the relevant category or market type. Hyperliquid’s catalogue distinguishes core perpetuals, HIP-3 deployments and spot. Lighter categories depend on its supported instruments. Perpetual-only figures should not be expected on spot rows.

Market rows and key metrics

Rows show available market prices and supporting statistics. Missing prices or changes appear as unavailable values rather than zero. Treat stale or loading values as display state; search does not certify execution readiness.

Switch the active market

  1. Open search from the context you want to change.
  2. Select the venue and identify the exact instrument.
  3. Choose its row.
  4. Confirm the chart title, venue and linked book match your selection.

If a previously saved instrument is no longer available, choose a current listing from search. Do not assume that a same-symbol replacement is the same contract.

Create and manage watchlists

The current terminal maintains one saved market watchlist rather than a collection of separately named lists. Star markets to build it, then use the watchlist strip or the screener’s watchlist filter for access. The list supports up to 250 markets.

Add and remove markets

Use the star beside a market in search, the chart header or screener. An active star indicates membership; selecting it again removes the entry. At the limit, remove an existing market before adding another.

The same symbol can be saved separately on both venues. Each entry retains its venue, type and native instrument identity.

Watchlist order and persistence

Drag entries in the watchlist strip to reorder them. Guest changes remain local; signed-in additions, removals and order changes synchronise through account preferences. The Remember recent markets setting controls a separate recent list, not watchlist membership.

If a device shows an older order, check account sync before making another set of changes.

Search opened from a linked panel targets that group. Global navigation uses the primary market context. Independent link groups let one chart change without moving every panel in the workspace.
